The Hope & Jaime Story
The Show Must Go On...

The Story Behind the Trauma Survivor Ambassador Program
The Trauma Survivor Ambassador Program was born from both pain and purpose—a mission shaped by lived experience, deep healing, and the unshakable belief that our stories have the power to save lives.

Meet the Founder
Jaime Matthews — Empowerment Coach. Trauma Survivor. Mother.
I’m Jaime Matthews, and my journey has been one of unimaginable hardship, relentless resilience, and ultimately, transformation.
I survived years of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Like many, I turned to unhealthy coping skills—including alcohol—to numb the pain, bury the memories, and simply make it through another day.
But deep down, I always believed there had to be another way.
In 2014, I made the courageous decision to get sober—and I’ve stayed sober for over a decade.
Through coaching certification and deep personal development work, I learned powerful, healthy coping tools that helped me shift from just surviving to truly thriving. In that shift, I found my voice, my strength, and my calling.

The Hope and Jaime Show
Before her passing, my daughter Hope and I created something deeply special:
The Hope and Jaime Show.
It was more than a seminar—it was a heartfelt, raw, and real experience where we stood together, as mother and daughter, to share our stories.
We spoke openly about growing up around alcoholism, surviving domestic violence and sexual abuse, battling addiction, and—most importantly—how we hoped our stories would help others break the cycle.
We wanted to inspire others to find their own healing, to show what recovery and resilience could look like, and to bring hope to anyone still struggling.
We dreamed of creating change… together.

The Promise
In 2023, I faced every mother’s worst nightmare. I lost Hope—my daughter, my co-speaker, my heart.
She was just 20 years old.
A beautiful, brave soul who had survived so much, yet still carried herself with strength and purpose.
That loss could have broken me. But I made her a promise:
Our stories would not end in silence.

The Movement
This program—the Trauma Survivor Ambassador Program—is the continuation of what we started.
It’s how... "The Show Must Go On."
I created this platform to give other survivors a voice, a spotlight, and a safe, empowering space to be seen and celebrated.
By combining my passion for coaching and advocacy with meaningful apparel, personal storytelling, and community partnerships, this movement honors Hope’s legacy—and helps others reclaim their own.

This Isn’t Just Apparel
This is healing in motion.
It’s for:
🖤 The ones still finding their voice
🖤 Those who’ve fought through the dark and found the light
🖤 Anyone who knows that surviving isn’t where the story ends—it’s where the power begins
